I’m not blogging solely because I have the same initials. That’s just a coincidence! The main and most important reason I’m blogging is because of the role I perform for John and Janice. For those that don’t know me, I have worked for Norwich Union (soon to become Aviva) for 20 years, family man, Norwich born and bred and I love my football.

As director of business development, I’ve been busy with the delivery of new Aviva initiatives into the broker market. Recently you may have seen our launch of Broker Independence Group and we’ve also been making major improvements to Club 110 based on broker feedback.

But that’s just the start, as we move deeper into 2009 our new commercial e-trading system will be launched, which will take us massively forward on our e-trading by offering you more products, a faster and better looking system, functionality that is easier to use and a quicker referral process. Later in the year, we will offer our brokers easier access to our personal lines products, together with sharper and more transparent pricing and a really clear proposition.

We will continue to offer new innovative offers across the market for whatever shape or size the broker, and to date this is one of the hardest yet most fulfilling jobs I have ever done. At the same time we know this is also a really important time to demonstrate our support in the broker market.
